Waiting for Sophie Reeder
Day 23 of 30Ft. Lauderdale, FLORIDA: On May 20, 2017 Teen Sophie Reeder was last seen on CCTV walking down a deserted street at 10:00 pm wearing a fluffy brown sweater over, black shorts and a tee shirt listening to white headphones with her hair done on 2 pom-poms. She was never seen again. Police do not know where or who she was going to. Her case remains open and was featured on the show Vanished.
Sophie has auburn hair and hazel eyes. Her hair is shoulder length and can be curly or style straight. She was 14 years old when she went missing. She used to sneak out of her home at night and take walks. Her mother tried to stop her and Sophie was eventually sent to live with her father.
Instead of giving her boundaries and rules, her father let Sophie do as she pleased and never asked questions about who she would be going out with or to see. It is from the father's house that Sophie was last seen on camera. Her father finally reported her missing to her mother after she had not been seen by him for 4 days straight.
Global Children's Rescue organizations and private. Investigators are still looking for Sophie and evidence has been uncovered that point to Sophie being groomed and taken by a human trafficking ring. This case is on going.
Prayers 🙏🙏🙏 that this young Lady is returned to her mother and gets the proper support & counseling that she will need to overcome her plight.

It was awful. I think this story was featured on Missing or Lost on television. You actually saw the real mother and her good for nothing father! This kid needed love and guidance unfortunately she was left to her own devices and innocently got caught up in something or with someone. 😇🙏🙏🙏

What a great design my friend!! The textured wall is fab and the string of flags so cute…. But that bed steals the show!!! And you placed it perfectly to be the focal point!!! Beautiful!!! However, Sophie’s story made me cry. I feel so sad for this poor girl. I know we only get part of the story but the fact that her mom couldn’t keep her and then dad took FOUR DAYS before reporting her missing tells me this girl has had a tough life. Praying she is somewhere safe and living a good life. 🙏🙏🙏
