Growing Up
I remember when you were born; so tiny you needed me. Then I took a deep breath and you were taking little steps, then running outside to play. But you still came in for a hug. In the turn of my head you were asking for the keys to the car and hugs were more and more infrequent. College days came and went and Dad walked you down the isle. Now you’re grown raising your own. I still remember when you were born. Mamas keep your babies close.
