Mid-Century Modern Interior
The Mid-Century Modern design style is a resurgence of the popular style in the 1940s-1960s and is known for its many iconic furniture pieces such as the Noguchi table, Jacobsen egg chair and Eames lounge chair. This design style features furniture with classic clean lines which can be straight or curved, furniture pieces with splayed, tapered or hairpin legs, and minimal decor. The mid-century style is known for using saturated colours and bright, bold patterns, whilst common materials include wood, metal, lucite, brass, moulded plastic, leather, and wool.
