A true representation of my lovely country... Our national flag: green for hope, white for unity, and red for blood. The eagle, is our national emblem, which represents our country worldwide; it's history takes place when Tenochtitlán was founded by the Mexicas, as the god of the sun ordered to, nowadays known as Mexico City. The mountain, are our two most famous preserved active volcanos, known as Popocatépetl & Iztaccíhuatl. The dog, represents an ancient breed with no fur, known as Xoloitzcuintle. The lady, represents a traditional costume originated from Yucatán & Oaxaca, an embroidered dress with colorful flowers, made by local craftsmen, called huipil. The ceramics, represents part of our art, which are a traditional colorful crockery made out of clay, crafted by indigenous townspeople from Puebla, known as Talavera. The instruments, are our music (las rancheras, las cumbias, los corridos tumbados, etc.); played by local musicians known as Mariachis, dressed as charros (a traditional cowboy costume), who use guitars, drums, and maracas. The totem, represents our ancient civilizations, which forms part of our history & culture; the three most popular ones are: Mexicas, Aztecas, & Mayas. The trophy & soccer ball, represents, a peaceful type of combat & ritual done by the Mayan's gods, called "el juego de la pelota"; which is the reason why, most Mexicans are constantly eager, about the glorious day, when our national soccer team will eventually win the world cup, to give our ancestors a proper tribute to a sport which represents their culture. The food portrayed in the design, is our Gastronomy: chocolate made with cocoa seeds, tacos, corn (sweet & sour), and spices & chilis used to make traditional dishes like el mole. And finally, the bottles, represents el tequila, an alcoholic drink made with agave, extracted from a type of cactus called maguey (which is the plant next to the bottles); that also grows a unique sweet fruit, only found in Mexico, called tuna.
