Ramadan (Arabic: رمضان رمادان)
Ramadan (Arabic: رمضان رمادان, [variant form]) is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, during which Muslims worldwide fast.[2] Fasting during Ramadan is the third of the five pillars of Islam. The month of Ramadan lasts for 29 or 30 days depending on the sighting of the moon.
Muslims celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the two main religious festivals of Muslims, on the 1st of Shawwal when the moon of Shawwal is sighted at the end of Ramadan.
