The Journey Back

A belated Happy New Year 2025 and Merry Christmas to everyone. This is my very first design after battling a debilitating version of influenza virus and it's attacks on my entire body including my kidneys. I was able to have a glorious Christmas with my friends and neighborhood families only to begin to get seriously ill on the evening of the Day after Christmas. My body battled this venomous intruder like a warrior but my energy kept being depleted and I was forced to be hospitalized after a long battle. It was said that this new strain passed right by vaccines, so it didn't matter what preventative methods you took. If it wants you, it will get you. So as a homage to what I have been through, I create my very first design of the New Year 2025. A visual representation of my journey from dark haunting sickness back to health. This works best if viewed from the last slide to the first. Where the cover side represents how I feel right now and my "rising" and "getting ready to soar" once again. I have spoken to a few others who have also shared their health journeys and private, devastating health journeys & health battles and their triumphs. All were included in my arsenal toward conquering this malady within me! Ladies and Gentlemen, I am back here to say: Never Give Up!!! Fight until your last breathe...and then breathe again!
