I've compared several home design softwares and figured homestyler would be a great choice for designing and sketching on a floor plan for my family's new home.
Unfortunately this turned out to be a terrible choice due to one simple and ridiculous flaw; there is no way to drag and drop rooms around on the grid.
Sure, one could recreate the empty room in another location and then move the furniture/interior to that room - but that completely defeats the purpose of coming up with a good floor plan by simple fun and exploration.
When will this be fixed, and if "soon", how soon? I can't imagine it would be difficult to implement such a feature.
