How to do Split Level rooms?

Wrong page, this is what you use to make a platform on the floor AKA custom modeling. Make sure that your 1st floor is totally complete. When adding 2nd fl it will duplicate all walls from 1st. Go to plane view on the 2nd floor, right side menu scroll down to bottom and look for 'edit floor'. hi grace thanks for the answer although im not exactly sure how to do the floor opening? im on this page, but dont know what to do next thank you in advance! @ Grace Simmons

This is a 2 story entry. After creating your 1st floor....completely. Make sure that all of your walls are where you want them. Place your staircase & adjust height according where you want the 2nd fl landing to be. This adjustment is easiest to do in 3D view. Make note that you will have to add to the height of the stairs the amt of the floor thickness you chose. Add a 2nd floor, which will be an exact copy of the 1st. Go to the 2nd fl in plane view & then to edit floor and make the opening. Or use floor opening to create space for the staircase. @ faerie cirxe
