hi folks

first time user, so pardon my ignorence.

has anyone figured out how to make a frosted shower door work?

I found some that look "frosted", but they either render "clear" or "solid" nothing in between.

is there a way to change the material for the doors from the catalogue?

are there premium models for doors that are pay for use?

Also note that you may have to try several different models. Some HS models do not take materials well. Suggest that once you find models that work for you, put them in your favorites for future use. Do the same thing with materials, it can save a lot of time the next time you need something.

Choose the model, click change materials>premium material>Glass....look through inventory to find the kind of glass you want. Click on the glass portion of the model and then return to design interface. The change may not show up there or in speed preview, check for desired effect by doing a simple 1K render. There are several HS tutorials Under Resources> "Learn & Help" section or their YouTube channel or just put 'Homestyler' in the YouTube search bar.
