I have an opening between the first and second floors. The stairs pass through it. There are also windows between the floors, but when I place the window there is a white line from the floor opening. Does anyone know how to make the hole without getting a line or is there another way? Please help….

The floor opening has to be in line with the wall. Better to use the edit floor function than the floor opening option. Then on the 1st floor in plane view place your windows and adjust the elevation and the height accordingly and that should make the line go away. Windows that extend for multiple floors should always be placed on the lowest floor and adjusted up. Adjusting windows downward just causes a glitch. It also may depend on the window, some just don't adjust well.
