Why is my ceiling floating??

Dominika Szvoboda 9 September

Hi! I have this problem that whenever I change the height of my walls the ceiling stays on the previous height and cannot be changed. It looks like it is floating and I cannot solve this. Please help! Thank you!

I figured it out!! you have to : 1. Go to "View" 2. Click on "Roof" 3. One the right hand side "Wall settings" will appear 4. Under wall settings you wil see "Wall Height" 5. Adjust it to the new hight of your walls and Voila! Hopes this helps!! Happy Designing!

I adjusted the walls in 2D view to reach the ceiling but when I go to 3D view I still can't change neither the wall height, nor the ceiling height. Where can I do that? Thank you!

Hello, it may because you have previously set the wall height lower than 1500mm, we suggest you switch to 2D view, then adjust each wall to the height of the ceiling first, then the ceiling will be closed, and later, you may adjust the wall height in 3D view to the amount you want, but please remember the height should not be lower than 1500mm:)

And if you do need your walls to be lower than 1500mm, you may unshow the ceiling first, then manually add the ceiling in 'Interior Modeling'.
