The door and some of the furniture are made of cedar which grows around the Salish Sea and was very important to the Native American tribes that took care of the Salish Sea. The photos on the walls show pictures and maps of the creatures, ecosystem and waters of the Salish Sea. Bedroom also uses cedar wood as well wood painted to look like the texture of the rock agate which is native to the PNW.
