The dining and kitchen on the floor above match the color scheme of the sunken living room since they are open to each other. The curved sofa helps fill the angles of the space and softens them.
A small separate seating area helps to fill the large living room. It offers additional seating, but also a place to have a snack or more intimate conversation.
Most of the furniture in this space features curves to soften the sharp angles of the room and contrast the horizontal lines of the railing.
A built in stone fireplace unit fills in an entire wall for maximum impact.

An organic wooden console table sits underneath the window to help fill the large living room and provide a place for soft lamplight.

All the colors and materials were made to blend and be cohesive between all the open spaces. More curved lines are used in the furniture to balance the horizontal lines of the surfaces and railing.
