the young couple inhabiting this living room are businesspeople, who like to take client calls on zoom sitting on their luxury sofa. for them, this space functions both as a living space and a professional one, being so close to the front door (just offscreen to the right). the windows look out onto a large manicured lawn. they think of this space less as a homely environment, and more of a reassuring one: reminding them of their confidence in their professionalism.
