A Rustic Boutique Retreat

I was inspired by a room I saw someone redo on tv, and wanted to play with some ideas of how I would havd done it. So I picked a very old stone house interior, and added a bit of a different colour on the one wall, to give the room some depth. Then I chose this bed because the tufted headboard gives a feel of glamour, while all the textured textiles in warm colours, keep it grounded in the historic space. I did mix materials and finishes and kept the look uniform by keeping simple lines.
The rug was chosen to imitate the feel of medieval tapestries, and the large artwork also mimics that idea.
