City Penthouse

This design reminded me of a city hideaway. A place that feels so comfortable and homey and is the perfect refuge after a long day at the office.

Floor Plan 125.31㎡

Initially, I wanted a storage room in the kitchen, but when I didn't have enough space for laundry appliances, I created a laundry room instead. I wanted the living/dining room to feel spacious, which meant compromising on the guest toilet, but I created nice comforts with the two balcony areas.

Space Showcase 20 Renders

Balcony1

Balcony1 3d design renderings
I used the same zig zag wallpaper from the kitchen into this room, added a chair, side table, a plant and an accessory wall.
Balcony1 3d design renderings
Since this is a high-rise space, I wanted to create hideaways within the space.

Laundry Room

The wash area was also kept simple. Calming artwork was used on the walls as an addition to the walls.
Laundry Room 3d design renderings
I added a skylight in the laundry room to bring in additional light into the space. I kept the cabinets clean because I wanted to continue the zig zag wallpaper into the space.

Kitchen

Kitchen 3d design renderings
I wanted an ease of flow in the space, so having the kitchen island in the middle of the space allowed for an easy flow throughout the room.
Kitchen 3d design renderings
I liked the teal blue chairs, so I maintained the same colour scheme with the green tiles. I kept the appliances simple, making it easy to blend into the room. A touch of personality, with the freshly baked donuts was just the perfect touch.
Kitchen 3d design renderings
The main feature of the space was the zig zag wallpaper, I wanted to bring an exciting feature to the room. I kept the rest of the walls simple and the floors were kept light as well. As a pop of colour, I introduced these teal blue dining chairs in the kitchen eating area.

Master Bedroom

Master Bedroom 3d design renderings
Finding furniture that complimented the space was very important. I wanted the room to feel safe, comfortable and warm. I also wanted the doors leading to the bathroom and balcony to be glass, opening up the space and bringing in light.
Master Bedroom 3d design renderings
I created the master room to be a classy and sophisticated space, I used a geometric wallpaper on all walls, a lush carpet and maintained the warm wooden furniture pieces. I kept the accessories simple, focussing on the wallpaper as a feature.

Second Bedroom

Second Bedroom 3d design renderings
I kept the furniture and bedding light and neutral. I didn't want to take anything away from the wallpaper, so it was important to allow everything to tie in together. This room is small, so using an armoire instead of wardrobe was perfect for additional storage.

Wallpaper was my friend in this design!! Continuing with the teal blue and green colour scheme, I chose this as the wallpaper for the guest bedroom.

Living Room

Living Room 3d design renderings
I extend the size of the windows so I could bring in as much as light as possible. kept the lighting simple yet modern. I also brought in as much greenery as possible, giving the space the life it needs.
Living Room 3d design renderings
Keeping with the same colours, I brought in pink dining chairs in the dining room and some accessories.
Living Room 3d design renderings
Continuing with the teal blue, I brought it into this living room area with an occasional chair and a feature rug. I wanted the space to feel feminine, so introducing another colour to the scheme, pink was that perfect touch of femininity.

Balcony

Balcony 3d design renderings
Extending the size of the windows all over allowed for vast views of the city, which is great from the penthouse.
Balcony 3d design renderings
I wanted the balcony to feel as open as possible. With limited space, it was important to add a glass table making it feel open and airy.

Master Bathroom

Master Bathroom 3d design renderings
There wasn't enough space for a shower, so I used the available space for a large bathtub and a side table. Again, additional windows brought in a lot of natural light.
Master Bathroom 3d design renderings
The master bathroom was small, so I used light tiles to open up the space as much as possible. I kept the accessories light and classy, matching with the overall style of the penthouse.

Second Bathroom

Second Bathroom 3d design renderings
The blue teal/greenish colour was brought into this space by adding these bathroom tiles. I kept the space as simple, clean and fresh as possible.
Second Bathroom 3d design renderings
The second bathroom was very small, but I welcomed the challenge...I used it to tile all the walls, add a clear glass shower and simple accessories.
