Parisian apartment: C'est La Vie!
This is a city apartment wanting very much to be a Parisian Lady! With somewhat of an eclectic mix of décor and art and a little shrug of her shoulder, she nestled herself in an old part of the city and used the exquisite bones of the building to show herself in full glory! A one bedroom apartment with plenty of je ne sais quoi! Hope you enjoy the tour!
The bathroom of a French lady? Take the tour of this bathroom and decide for yourself! Feminine touches of white and gold, and then the touches of pink and black. The bathroom is spacious enough for the full suite of double vanities, soaker tub and shower.
A soaker tub with a view out on the city. Good bath products to please all the senses. Radiator on the wall for the winter cold!
The magic of the feature wall with it's amazing mosaic work. The antique rug for that special touch.
The entrance hall with a selection of art pieces calls you in from outside!
In the front entrance hallway there is the bedroom door on one side and the big glass doors opening into the living dining space.
The upholstery of the chair was chosen to marry with all the other art pieces in the space. And the wall panel just the right backdrop to make the magic happen!
The balcony on the front of the apartment with a view out on the old city. Just big enough to enjoy a bit of fresh air and a croissant!
Balcony outside the bedroom.....and to reach it climb through the french windows. Coffee and the paper on the menu!
This is to show off the antique ceilings that was fitted and preserved in the whole apartment.
Fireplace in the bedroom, fluffy rug and comfortable chairs. And then the fresh breeze blowing the curtains in your face while you still sit and dream your dream......
Just behind the curtain, the city is singing a song......
Crisp and elegant bed linens.....and the dress for the party awaits her princess.
Bespoke paneling on the wall behind the bed enhancing the French lines of the décor pieces.
His and her wardrobes......with the French flair.
The living and dining room is spacious and comfortable. A mix of French flair and eclectic sophistication.
White and gold the primary color choice for furniture and then the addition of duck egg blue and greys. On the floor again the heritage of good carpets.
Art plays a big roll in this space. And mirrors to double the beauty and reflect it back.
The dining table is in a bleached wood and has this amazing stone top. The upholstery on the chairs again chosen carefully to marry with everything else in the room, but also in a timeless design pattern.
The style of art chosen was mostly more eclectic and modern, but fits seamlessly into the whole picture.
The French doors leads out onto the balcony and opens the exquisite view out on the city.
In the kitchen they used the color palette of mint green and black and white. The kitchen was designed with enough space to fit a breakfast nook in and to have a view out on the patio.
Breakfast table set, fresh fruit and fresh flowers and black pinstripes on the wall!
And this is the end of the fairytale.......
Thanks dear Winnie!

OHHH Hester after my second leisurely viewing this morning ...all i can say is TRES MAGNIFIQUE!!!!...this ohhh so chic French apartment made me swoon from the opening shot. I LOVED every centimetre of every room,, and the classic canvas of white throughout. Each room was a lesson in Parisian understated chic and if that wasn't enough to wow the senses the balcony and view looked stunning. As I've said to you...I could comb all the Paris apartments nearby and probably not find one i'd trade this place for...... it was SUPERB!!!!!!!

Ohhh you've captured your inner Frenchie!! This is so elegant yet also youthful and fun. You've built the bones of the apartment so beautifully to set off the wonderful selection of furnishings and art. And I always love your captions! My favorite areas were the stunning entryway and wonderfully put together breakfast area. Tres bien mon ami!!
